Stephen has been Counselling and Coaching people with an ABI and their family members for the last 5 years and is one of a handful of Psychotherapists/Counsellors/Life Coaches working in this area in Ireland and is one of the founding member of Brí Ireland national counselling services.

Stephen provides an Integrated,  Counselling, Psychotherapy and personal development Coaching model for people with an ABI and/or their family members, his therapeutic model and approach has been developed working with many client’s over the years.

ABI session duration is approx 80mins with time allocated for rest and to take a short break, however this is taylored to each individual client.

Enlightenment Counselling Services also offers a unique opportunity for counselling, psychotherapy and/or life coaching for people with ABI in the comfort of their own home, this is done via Telecom or Skype at no extra charge to the session fee.

Stephen’s approach to working with individuals with an acquired brain injurys is primarily to first understand the person, and the effect the brain injury has had on them both Cognitively (thinking) and Emotionally (feelings). It has been his experience that the effects of an ABI on a persons physical and emotional self can be devastating to say the least.
