Towards Healing is a new counselling and support service for people whom have indured Institutional, Clerical and Religious abuse, funded by the Catholic Church.
Services Towards Healing offer
Towards Healing provides the following services to its clients:
- Towards Healing Telephone Helpline operates on Mondays – Thursdays, from 11am to 8pm, and on Friday’s from 11am to 6pm. 1800 303 416
- They have a mobile number for texting purposes for our hearing impaired service users only: 085-8022859
- Offer 80 sessions of once weekly individual face to face counselling for survivors, their partners, parents, children and siblings.
- 12 sessions of couple/family therapy counselling.
- Group therapy with prior agreement of the Clinical Director.
- Contribution towards travel expenses accompanied by a medical certificate where the need arises, to be approved in advance by a Case Manager.
